Linda Li talks about E-Waste awareness

12.12.2019

Malaysia is just one example of an opportunity for an E-Waste awareness campaign. As the country becomes more technology savvy with 5G and attracts more global tourists, the E-Waste issue expands.

Islands have limited capacity for landfills and must continue to stack waste higher and higher. When E-Waste is mixed in with regular household garbage it can cause fires and also release harmful toxins into the environment and water systems. Re-Teck’s Chief Strategy Officer, Linda Li, teamed up with The Time Group to create a series of interviews to help educate retailers and consumers about options for reusing, repurposing and recycling used electronics. These online videos will be available worldwide and showcased on social media and digital platforms.
